So let’s talk about the Oscars last night. Well first of all I think we can all agree that Seth was a great choice to host the Oscars. he can sing, he can dance and he is cuuuuuute! And then we had numerous memorable moments like when Ang Lee the director of Life of Pie won the Oscar for best director, and very deservingly so!Beautiful movie! And Suraj Sharma is HOT! Then we had the beautiful Jennifer Lawrence accept the Oscar for Best actress, right before she ate the stairs a little bit the poor girl. But at least she got a standing ovation for it! Daniel Day Lewis made Oscar History when he bagged his third Oscar, for leading man for his role in Lincoln. What a man! The stunning Adele took home the golden man for best song and the tears of joy kept flowing! But for me personally the highlight was, when Ben Affleck was accepting the Oscar for Argo as best movie! I mean first of all he looked ANGRY, still angry that he wasnt nominated for best director and I am not sure about you guys but at some point I was worried he is about to show the dirty finger into the camera! And then he was so sweet to include his beautiful wife Jenniffer Garner into his acceptance speech, making all of us worry about a looming divorce. I believe his words went something like this: Marriage is hard work. Enjoyabe. But it is still work! yaiks…so anyhoo Congratulations to all the winners, now we know which movies we definitely must watch!!!
And the horsemeat scandal continues! Ikea has withdrawn meatballs for sale in much of Europe after Czech inspectors found traces of horsemeat in a batch manufactured in Sweden. Czech officials said horse was found in “beef and pork” meatballs in the UK, Netherlands, Portugal and others. The scandal began with frozen meals and burgers in the UK and Ireland. Since the first horsemeat was discovered last month, traces have been found in food across the Eropean Union. Oh man I love those meatballs at IKEA right here in New York – is it maybe time to check THOSE for some horsemeat?
