The American people have spoken and they have chosen a new old President! It will be President Obama achieved a clear win over Republican challenger Mitt Romney yesterday, and for the next 4 years will have to handle some of the toughest challenges the US has seen in a long time. Democrats will retain control of the Senate, while Republicans will keep the majority in the House of Representatives. Obama will now have the difficult task, to deal with the 1 trillion dollars of annual deficits and reduce a $16 trillion national debt, update expensive social programs and deal with the split Congress. In American football deadlock grips might be fun to watch, but in US politics this has been the cause of many frustrations. For now we at Corporate Profile would like to congratulate President Obama! and a hearty fare well to Mr. Romney, it was a good fight.

Great News for Potheads in Colorado! An amendment has passed, making it legal in Colorado for individuals to possess, and for businesses to sell marijuana, for recreational use. How about that?! Finally someone gets with the program! After putting a nice tax on this highly popular product, Colorado will soon become one of the richest states in the US! I am sure of it! Colorado would become the first state to legalize recreational use of the drug, and possibly clearing the roads for a marijuana industry. And therein lies the magical solution of all of America’s problems! Legalize Marijuana and you can use those taxes to buy the US back from China! And that would just be the icing on the cake. There goes the fiscal cliff, there go some unnecessary arrests and the costs linked to that. Sometimes we really just over complicate things!

We are really unlucky here in New York at the moment. As we are still in the process of recovering from hurricane Sandy, with many people still stranded without electricity or heat, a second storm is expected to hit us tonight. People in Rockaway and Queens have been evacuated and construction work has bee halted from noon today until 7 a.m. Thursday, as gusts of wind could hit 60 miles an hour. When it rains it really pours doesn’t it. Stay safe everyone.
