As I said it’s a wild fire in the Middle East and I really don’t believe it is just because of the stupid movie, that makes fun of the Muslim prophet Muhammad. After the US embassy attacks in Lybia, Egypt and Yemen, protesters have now attacked the German and British embassies in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum. Demonstrators started fires and tore down the German flag, raising an Islamist banner in its place. In Lebanon KFC and Pizza Hut have been attacked. These violent demonstrations in the Middle East, is confronting President Barack Obama with the most serious challenge yet to keep the Arab Spring from turning into a new wave of anti-Americanism. What do you guys out there think? Is US President Obama, handling this issue well so far? Ne polls confirmed, that he currently holds leads over Mitt Romney in Ohio, Florida and Virginia, three of the states likely to determine who wins the White House in November. Post your comments!

First we get to see Prince Harry’s goods and now it seems a French newspaper had the audacity to print topless pictures of Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge. Hmmm. French publication Closer printed the pictures of the duchess, taken during their private holiday in France. The royals are now considering legal action over the case. The editor of Closer said she saw no harm in publishing the pictures, adding they were “not in the least shocking”. So I guess she liked what she saw! Especially the number of the magazine’s sales. It is just another photo of a woman sunbathing topless, claimed the editor. It has emerged that British newspapers were offered photographs last week but turned them down. Anyhoo, guess who won’t be vacationing in France any time soon? Oh and by the way, Closer is administered by Italian business Mondadori, owned by former president Silvio Berlusconi’s holding company Fininvest. So can we be really surprised?

It is the final straw for supersize drinks in NYC. New York City has passed the first US ban on large-size sodas and other sugary drinks being sold in restaurants and other eateries. New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg called for the ban as a way to reduce obesity and related health problems. The ban will apply to sodas and other sugary beverages larger than 16 ounces, that’s half a liter, nearly everywhere they are sold, except groceries and convenience stores. Opponents plan to fight the ban in court.

i-Phone 5 to the rescue – of the disastrous Facebook stock! Facebook surged as much as 8.9 percent, on track for a record gain, after Apple said the iPhone 5 has a built-in application for the social network that enables photo sharing and voice-activated posts. The stock is currently trading at around 21 per share and keep climbing slowly. It seems Facebook is having success convincing investors, that they might be very successful in targeting mobile space users. So are you in or are you out? That is the question!
