Here is a little riddle for you start off this beautiful Tuesday morning: It is one of the biggest and most successful companies in the world. It just won a huge patent fight against its major rival. What would be the next logical move? .anyone? Of course it is to try stopping your rivals products from being sold – ideally anywhere and forever and ever.but for now Apple will start with the US. After winning a jury verdict for patent infringement against Samsung in a U.S. court last week, Apple is now seeking a permanent injunction against the eight phones that accounted for most Samsung’s U.S. smartphone revenue in the first six months of the year. Judge Koh will rule on the request on Sept. 20. Samsung responded in South Korea on Tuesday with a one sentence press statement. “We will take all necessary measures to ensure the availability of our products in the U.S. market,” said Samsung. And with that we are off into round two of the boxing championship for the title of Most Epic electronics Goods company that ever existed. Are you ready to rumble???? Samsung shares plummeted but guess whose shares went up? NOKIA! I’m telling ya, it’s a dark horse waiting in the side lines.
Since Vladimir Putin has ascended the throne as ruler of Russia, he has been working very hard to create an aura and image of a humble servant to the Russian people. A people’s president, who loves sports and the outdoors.yeah he loves the outdoors all right cruising around on his five-decked yacht with a Jacuzzi, barbecue, a maple wood colonnade and a huge bathroom faced in marble. Leading critics have long criticized his opulent life style, and according to a recently published report by opposition leader Boris Nemtsov, some of Putin’s hardships of being the tsar of Russia culminate in owning 58 planes, 20 homes, 11 watches that are worth a total of some $700,000, and my personal favorite a $75,000 toilet on the presidential jet! Only the best for the president’s ass! Oh and the annual income the president declares is $115,000 a year. The published report argues, that it is only the wealthy lifestyle, that Putin got accustomed to during his presidency, that inspires him to remain president. Who can blame him. He is audacious enough to claim it and the people’s protest is just not loud enough yet. Raise your voice people!
And talking about toilets and such. In Taiwan a huge debate has been stirred up by a Taiwanese minister, who suggests that men should be sitting down while urinating, instead of standing up. Halleluja! He argues that sitting down creates a cleaner environment – duuuuuhhhh. When you stand up gentlemen, your pee (excuse my French) is going all over the floor and the rim of the toilet, which makes a toilet smell unless someone cleans it. Anyone of you been to a Starbucks toilet lately? No? I wonder why…anyhoo what do you guys out there think? Should men sit during urination?
