Looks like this weekend might be the weekend, when is Spain will be officially asking for help from the EU bank. That would make Spain the fourth and the biggest country in the eurozone to seek help in resolving its banking crisis, since the beginning of the debt crisis. It seems the Fitch Ratings cut of Madrid’s sovereign credit rating to BBB, put some sense into Spanish officials and made them realize just how serious the situation really is.
The fight of Apple iPhone versus Samsung Galaxy over US market domination is heading into the next round, with Apple trying to stop Samsung from launching the Galaxy S 3 phone in the US altogether. Apple is suing Samsung for patent infringements of all sorts but primarily for pretty much blatantly copying its iPhone and iPad. Of course Samsung denies the claims and is suing Apple, for slander I assume?
Facebook launches an app centre to help third party app developers promote their work. This move could potentially mean a badly needed revenue increase for facebook, as it is planning to make 30% of all in-app purchases made, using its credit system. The app centre would be personalized for each use showing them what apps their friends use and giving personalized recommendations.
Looks like virus makes of Flame have send a code prompting the virus to self destruct on some affected computers. Apparently it was Security firm Symantec that caught the code command, with the help of booby-trapped computers, also known as “honeypot” computers, showing Flame’s actions. The firm wrote on their blog that the flame virus ” tries to leave no traces of the infection behind.” Wouldn’t we love to know who the aster mind behind this is!
